The Story of Physician 360
Introduced by a mutual acquaintance, ER doctors Angela Fusaro and Rob Lapporte came to the same conclusion: there aren’t great options for patients who are seeking convenient, cost-effective, and diagnostically-accurate care for simple medical illnesses. Additionally, since an excess of non-emergency patients in emergency rooms is one of the factors that drive up costs and wait times, Angela and Rob wanted to find a way to save patients time and money, while also alleviating overcrowded ERs.
Telemedicine has long been on the rise, but it can only do so much without the ability to incorporate test results as part of the patient’s assessment. Enter Physician 360.

In addition to strep throat, the Physician 360 team identified three other common, low-acuity illnesses that are frequently treated in a doctor’s office but could easily and safely be cared for off-site by the patient: flu, UTI, and anemia. Our treatment kits include a physician consultation via your smartphone or computer and may include prescription medication or diagnostic test. With Physician 360, you can purchase a doctor’s appointment “in a box”! Eventually, Physician 360 consultations expanded to include regular prescriptions like Birth Control & Erectile Dysfunction. Most recently, Physician 360 launched the first-to-market, over-the-counter Ear Infection Kit to help diagnose the #1 reason children go to the doctor’s office.
As simple as the process seems now, getting it started was no small task. We needed to find doctors to be ‘on-call’ all day, all across the country. To accomplish this, we first took advantage of our personal networks: friends from medical school, past and present colleagues, and even the occasional spouse! Soon enough, Physician 360’s reputation spread. Healthcare providers began to reach out to us, wanting to be part of our journey to transform healthcare!

In 2018, everything was finally ready for launch: products were ready to ship, doctors were ready for online consults, and the website was ready for orders. As with any startup founders,we wore wore multiple hats every day, from building the website and studying logistics to giving telemedicine consultations and fielding questions on the phone. As the word spread about our kits, independent pharmacies became interested in offering the packages as a cost-effective alternative to big-box pharmacy clinics and doc-in-the-box services.

Angela Fusaro M.D., MBA
Dr. Angela Fusaro, MD, MBA, is an Emergency Medicine physician in Atlanta, GA. She leads a national workshop, Insight to Innovation, that helps other physicians translate clinical insight into marketable products. Dr. Fusaro has extensive leadership experience in organized medicine, serving on the Board of Directors of national organizations, where she drives business improvements and manages strategic changes. Dr. Fusaro sets strategic goals for Physician 360 and monitors progress in achieving them.
Dr. Rob Lapporte, MD
Our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rob Lapporte, MD, has been practicing evidence-based clinical medicine in emergency rooms and urgent care centers for almost two decades. Dr. Lapporte's customer service prowess has been instrumental in designing a tool that patients want and is easy to use. Dr. Lapporte's background also includes a medical directorship of one of the most successful free-standing emergency rooms/urgent care centers in the Dallas metropolitan region.
Brooke Wilson is a passionate problem-solver who loves to partner with companies to drive results. With experience spanning corporate, agency and non-profit, she has impacted companies big and small, in varied sectors, by orchestrating smart teams and integrating efforts for efficiency and efficacy. Brooke has led marketing, advertising and PR strategies and programs for world-leading companies including Walmart, Delta Air Lines, Wells Fargo, Nike, Verizon Wireless, Coca-Cola and more. She leverages her experience to lead all marketing efforts for Physician 360, including all elements of direct media relations, branding, advertising and digital media development.
Jason Yarbrough joins Physician 360 after spending several years building a successful small business in the Oklahoma City area. He brings over 15 years of sales and operations experience in multiple industries, including retail pharmacy. Jason has a passion for connecting customers with products and services that will truly have a profound impact on their business. Jason is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and sales tactics, sets revenue targets for the company and monitors performance metrics year over year.
Shruti Singal, MD
Shruti Singal, MD is an Emergency Medicine physician. For 15 years, she served at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA as an Associate Professor. Dr. Singal also served as Medical Director for CVS Minute Clinics and worked closely with executive leadership to manage utilization and quality/cost of care. She is an MBA candidate at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Dr. Jessica Whittle, MD PhD
Dr. Jessica Whittle, MD PhD is the Director of Research for the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga and Erlanger Health and has practiced in both community and academic practice settings. Dr. Whittle has served as a national level advisor regarding infection and sepsis, and has research interests in critical care and respiratory support of critically ill patients.
Charles Goetz joined Goizueta Business School in the fall of 2001. Prior to his foray into academia, he had over 15 years of experience in developing, implementing, and growing entrepreneurial ventures. Goetz has been responsible for starting and building nine ventures to date, and he is still actively involved in investing in new businesses and sits on a number of both private business and not-for-profit boards.
Joe Army is President & CEO of Vapotherm Inc, a developer and manufacturer of innovative, comfortable, noninvasive technologies for respiratory support of patients with chronic or acute breathing disorders. He has 20 years of management experience in the Medtech industry. He earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing from University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School.
Brooke has worked in multiple facets of the marketing, most recently as a Senior Partner Marketing Manager and Head of Global Strategic Engagement Marketing for Amazon. Previously, she was a Brand Manager of $1B+ multi-product portfolio. She has leveraged all of her experience together to serve as the Marketing Strategist for Physician 360. She is responsible for designing the marketing strategy of the company, and all elements of directs media relations, branding, advertising and digital media development.
