What is included in a Physician 360 telemedicine kit?
The patient will receive an on-demand telemedicine consultation and a treatment plan. That treatment plan may include prescription medications or diagnostic tests.
If a diagnostic test is prescribed for the patient, how reliable these tests?
The test accuracy is defined by sensitivity and specificity from clinical trials. Sensitivity is the percentage of results that will be positive when a disease is present. Specificity is the percentage of results that will be negative when a disease is not present. Physician 360 prescribes tests that use similar methodologies to what you would experience in a hospital or physician office; therefore, the accuracy levels are comparable. For more specific information, contact a member of our team.
Are they FDA approved?
All of our kits are FDA cleared tests that require physician approval for purchase and oversight for use. These tests have the same diagnostic accuracy as going into a laboratory.
Do kits expire?
Yes, a test kit’s expiration date is marked on the box and may vary. Typically, it is between 9-12 months from the time you receive it.
